Apparently 100 flights were cancelled out of Chicago when Matthew and I were trying to connect to get to Ohio. Our flight was canceled, however very painlessly we were able to get a new flight. This was done because Matthew is amazing!! (I try not to say this too often because his ego does not need many boosts, but truely this was GREAT.) We stood in line waiting for a stressed and harrassed looking United agent while Matthew called the number on his fancy Premier exec card and talked to a guy in India. By the time we got to our turn he had already rebooked us. All we had to do was confirm the reservation and have them print out new boarding passes for us.
The best part was we got switched from flying to Columbus to flying to cincinnati for the price of flying in to Columbus. - 45 minute car ride compared to 2 and a half hours - and with all that crazyness we were only 2 hours later than planned. Too bad we forgot we had luggage transfered to Cincinnati - it made it to Clumbus though. Matthew has been wearing the same clothing for 2 days now, however my Imma and Elana chipped in and I have been smelling QUITE clean and fresh. It is now almost 1 AM and we have been sitting up awake waiting for it to arrive (we were promised it would be here by 1) We will see.
Beyond the fabulous part of seeing people, our visit to Cincinnati has been primarily wedding business. Here is our agenda:

12:00-Meet with synagogue gift shop and plan registry
1:00-lunch and if time check out the Hotel we are booking the blocks of rooms.
2:00-hair appointment
Tuesday
10:30 - Florist
11:30 - Band/DJ
1:00 -Tasting at Manor house ( we have been warned that there is one plate for all of us opefully there is time for lunch before the tasting)
2:30 - meet with Andrea, our wedding planner, to go over all our meetings.
Wednesday - Fly home.
Thank you much to Leah's Parents for puting us up and running us on our errands for a few days.
In between all that we have other plans and details to do. My Imma has already shown us more Ketubah sketches and Laurie showed us Chupah designs before we left. Caitlin even reviewed the program for us and said it made sense!!! Lots of progress since school begins on Thursday.
Tonight in Cincinnati it snowed, so to liven up the blog here are pictures of Matthew and I on our quest to the Nutcracker in Portland's snow at the end of 2008 - we took public transit and everything.
